Brittany Cardoza, ATR-BC, LGPC, LGAT

Brittany Cardoza is a Board- Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor and Licensed Graduate Art Therapist working in private practice in Washington D.C. Brittany specializes in anxiety, grief, life transitions, medical concerns, and is trained in trauma treatment. She received her masters in Art Therapy from The George Washington University in 2023, after completing internships in Art Therapy at both National Children’s Hospital’s Oncology/Hematology/Bone Marrow Treatment unit and The George Washington University Art Therapy Trauma Clinic.

Prior to becoming a therapist Brittany worked as the Director of Advocacy and Engagement for Jordan’s Guardian Angels, a California- based nonprofit dedicated to funding and facilitating research into a treatment and cure for the rare genetic disorder, Jordan’s Syndrome. During her six years working for Jordan’s Guardian Angels, Brittany advocated and collaborated with rare disease foundations to identify needs in the rare community to be addressed through legislation at state and federal levels.

Brittany holds a Nonprofit Executive Management Certificate from Georgetown University (2020), a Bachelors in Science in Family Science from The University of Maryland (2017), College Park, and has experience studying European Clinical Psychology in Copenhagen, Denmark (2016).
