Dr. Kathleen McLoughlin is a board-certified family medicine physician.  Dr. McLoughlin was trained at the University of California, Davis, and did her residency in Family Medicine at the UC Davis Network Family Practice Residency Program - Merced, California.  Kathleen began her career caring for patients of all ages.  Her experience includes providing prenatal care, obstetrics and delivery, pediatric care, surgical assistance, and inpatient hospital care.  She was a member of the University of Maryland Clinical Network at Severna Park, Maryland.  Dr. McLoughlin completed her clinical practice at Montgomery Family Medicine, Silver Spring, Maryland, concluding more than 30 years in the medical field in 2023.  She now advises on policy and practice issues affecting healthcare delivery, with a particular interest in rural healthcare delivery.
